Ideal for children ages 1 to 8, this session is meant to preserve the quiet wonder and grace unique to early childhood.


Each portrait is designed to be displayed—framed on the walls of your home or lovingly passed down for generations. This is more than a photograph; it’s your legacy, beautifully preserved.

The Heirloom Experience

 

1. schedule and consultation

 

Once you inquire, we’ll select a session date and begin with a brief consultation to understand your vision.

We’ll discuss the age of your child, ideal timing, and what makes this season meaningful to you.

 

 

2. Styling and Preparation

 

You’ll receive exclusive access to The Heirloom Closet—a carefully curated collection of timeless children’s clothing, all chosen with tradition and portraiture in mind.

You may also choose to visit local boutiques for bespoke options.

I’m here to help guide you every step of the way.

 

 

3.The sitting

 

Your session will take place in my in-home studio

in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Each sitting is relaxed and unrushed, lasting 10 minutes

(or up to 15 for younger children needing extra time to acclimate).

I’ll gently guide your child with simple posing to capture an authentic and classic portrait.

 

 

4.Delivering photos

 

Soon after, we’ll schedule your ordering appointment

to select from your child’s portraits.

Choose from fine art prints or custom-framed wall pieces.

I’ll guide you through every option to create a legacy artwork piece that will live on in your family for generations.

 

How Digital Files Work



Digital images are not included in Heirloom Portraiture Collections.

However, you’ll receive the high-resolution digital file as a complimentary backup

for each image you choose to preserve in print.


This model honors the true purpose of your portraits — to be held, framed, and passed down, not lost in a cloud folder.
